Effective date: July 16, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of blackstone-ab.ca (the "Site") and any services or content offered by Blackstone Security Group Inc. ("Blackstone," "we," "us," or "our"). Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who we are
The Site is operated by Blackstone Security Group Inc., located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. You can reach us using the contact details in Section 15.
2. Eligibility
By using the Site, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your province or territory of residence, or that you are using the Site under the supervision of a parent or guardian. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
3. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for your personal or legitimate business purposes. You agree that you will not:
-
Use the Site in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
-
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems.
-
Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site or its security features.
-
Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
-
Copy, reproduce, scrape, or redistribute content from the Site without our written permission.
-
Use the Site to transmit unsolicited advertising or harassing, defamatory, or unlawful content.

We may suspend or restrict access to the Site to anyone who breaches these Terms.
4. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, designs, and layout — is owned by or licensed to Blackstone and is protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. You may view and use the Site for its intended purpose, but you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent. The Blackstone name, logo, and the names of our service divisions may not be used without our permission.
5. Your submissions
If you submit any content to us — including messages, enquiries, intake forms, or other materials submitted through a form on the Site — you retain ownership of it, but you grant Blackstone a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, and display that content for the purpose of responding to your enquiry and operating our services. You are responsible for ensuring your submissions are accurate, lawful, and do not infringe the rights of others. We may remove any submission at our discretion.
Do not submit confidential, sensitive, or privileged information through the Site unless we have specifically requested it as part of an intake process. Information submitted through a web form is not a secure channel and should not be treated as one.
6. Enquiries, quotes, and service engagements
The Site describes the services Blackstone offers. It is provided for general information and does not constitute an offer, a quote, or a commitment to provide services.
Submitting an enquiry, intake form, or application through the Site does not create a client relationship, engage our services, or obligate Blackstone to accept an engagement. We may decline any enquiry at our discretion.
All services are provided only under a separate written service agreement between Blackstone and the client. That agreement — including its scope, pricing, deployment terms, and cancellation provisions — governs the delivery of services, and it prevails over these Terms and over anything stated on the Site in the event of a conflict. All pricing quoted by Blackstone is in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise, and remains subject to change until confirmed in a signed agreement.
Certain services, including Specialized Bodyguarding and Secure Transport, are available by application only and require completion of an intake process prior to any engagement.
7. Licensing and regulatory compliance
Blackstone provides security and investigative services in Alberta in accordance with the Security Services and Investigators Act (Alberta) and its associated regulations. Our security business licence number is [insert licence number]. Nothing on the Site should be interpreted as legal advice, risk-assessment advice, or a guarantee of any particular outcome, level of protection, or result.
8. Third-party links and services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not own or control. We provide these links for convenience only and are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of any third-party site. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk, and their terms and privacy policies will apply.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Site, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy, available at blackstone-ab.ca/privacy-policy.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content is accurate, current, or complete. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation that cannot be waived.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Blackstone and its owners, directors, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Site.
This section applies to your use of the Site. Liability arising from services delivered by Blackstone is governed by the applicable written service agreement.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Blackstone and its owners, directors, employees, and contractors from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
13. Changes to the Site and Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Site. The provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will continue to apply.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Alberta, Canada.
